Airbus delivered the 50th A220 from the Final Assembly Line (FAL) site in Mobile, Alabama, the United States (US).
Breeze Airways took delivery of the aircraft, registered as N224BZ, on August 30, 2023, according to planespotters.net data.

Delta Air Lines has since taken delivery of the Mobile FAL精东影业 51st A220, registered as N318DU, on September 1, 2023, planespotters.net data showed.
Airbus began assembling A220s at its Alabama facility in August 2019, delivering the first aircraft of the type from the Mobile FAL in October 2020. While Breeze Airways, Delta Air Lines, and JetBlue are the only three airlines in the US to operate the type, not every A220 operated by either of them has been assembled in the US.
For example, JetBlue has a single Montreal FAL-built A220, registered as N3125J, which Airbus delivered to the airline in March 2023. Meanwhile, Delta Air Lines鈥 A220s, predating October 2020, were all also built at the Canadian facility.
According to ch-aviation.com data, Delta Air Lines has taken delivery of 42 Airbus A220s, including four A220-300 aircraft that were built in the US. Since then, the majority of Delta Air Lines鈥 A220 deliveries have been the A220-300, with nine A220-100s, which were built in Montreal, Canada.
Airbus Orders & Deliveries filings, as of August 31, 2023, showed that North America-based airlines, including Canadian carriers, have ordered a total of 326 A220-300s, with Airbus delivering 85. Out of the remaining backlog, Breeze Airways, Delta Air Lines, and JetBlue have 64, 68, and 82 deliveries remaining, respectively, the manufacturer精东影业 data showed.
Air Canada精东影业 A220-300 backlog was 27 aircraft as of August 31, 2023.
Meanwhile, Delta Air Lines received all 45 A220-100s that it had ordered. Airbus has booked a total of 95 orders for the smaller A220 variant, having delivered 56 of them.
